Well, I started this blog as just a public record to log my present attempt at trying to unload some blubber (lose weight). I figured if I put it here, for the world to see, I'd have a harder time backing out. I have to say that I haven't went into it with the dedication that I had hoped, but I'm doing fairly well none the less.
It's 3:37am here in southern Indiana, and I'm very tired, but I did want to get a post in before I hit the hay. I've yet to get my exercise routine going, just because of my laziness, but it's coming soon. I did have a lot of running around to do yesterday, so I do have just a little bit of an excuse. Well not really though, I wouldn't have started it had I been home all day. Hey, at least I am honest, I guess that's a little bit of a good thing.
So, I've been posting what kind of diet I've been maintaining, and I did good yesterday. I did good just from the calorie counting aspect I should say. The only meal I had was at KFC. I stopped in and got the buffet. I had (2) breasts, mashed potatoes and gravy, cabbage, green beans, (1) biscuit and cole slaw. I did have about (1.5) Cherry Cokes also. There was no desert, and that was the only thing I ate all day, so I feel I did fairly well. It wasn't a good, healthy, completely rounded diet for the day, but I didn't go over board and eat junk either.
I have lost weight since starting out just over a week ago, and I KNOW I will lose the weight that I want to. Once I've got 5-10 pounds off, and I start exercising, I'll get into it with more enthusiasm, and then you'll be amazed at what you see....I promise.
I'll continue posting the pictures weekly (on Sundays), and once I get into the zone, you'll see someone lose weight at a pretty surprising rate. As I've mentioned before, I have done it before, although it was about (10) years or more ago, and I WILL do it this time also. The pictures will be the proof.
